Harry Caray's Restaurant was a Chicago radio fan's heaven Sunday night when former stars of WLS-AM (890) gathered to celebrate "The Big 89 Rewind."

Program director Kipper McGee hosted the dinner party on behalf of the Citadel Broadcasting news/talk station.

Among those toasting to the following day's on-air reunion of Top 40 personalities were Larry Lujack, Tommy Edwards, John Records Landecker, Bill Bailey and news anchors Catherine Johns, Lyle Dean, Gil Gross and Linda Marshall.

On Friday, Lujack spent about 90 minutes meeting with Tom Langmyer, vice president and general manager of Trib-owned news/talk WGN-AM (720), and Bob Shomper, program director.

Langmyer called it "more of a social visit" than anything else. "It was fun to spend time with him," he added.
