Pat Cassidy never seemed to find his footing at "The Big 89" WLS-AM, even before new V.P. & General Manager Michael Damsky and New Operations Director Drew Hayes decided to pull the plug on the show Pat & Mancow did the last 16 months following today's show.
That being said, I read Rob Feder's blog, and WBBM Newsradio 780 has always kept the seat warm in the event the Cassidy/WLS experiment didn't work out. This despite the fact John Hultman came out of retirement to work morning drive on 'BBM weekdays with Felicia Middlebrooks. Something tells me that John doesn't want to do this long term and I wouldn't be shocked if a Pat & Felicia reunion at Newsradio 780 became a reality.
