New 100.3 FM Direct Mail

Love FM (oh wait it's not called that anymore).. it's the 80s and more..(again?) is now sending direct mail to targeted home owners in the Chicagoland area, telling them to listen every morning for Chicago's Feel Good Favorites and their chance to win $1,000 for themselves and $1,000 for two of their friends. The mailing tells you to go to www.wilv.com keyword CASH - enter your name and the names of two of your friends that would like to win the cash. Then you're all supposed to listen at 9AM every weekday. Will this help their ratings or brand recognition? Time will only tell, but my bet is on no. I threw my mailing in the garbage.
