Dan Zampillo, former sports director of CBS Radio sports/talk WSCR-AM (670), has been hired as assistant program director at Tribune Co.-owned news/talk WGN-AM (720).

Zampillo, a Hammond, Ind., native who most recently was program director at WXYT-AM in Detroit, previously had been program director of WBNS-AM in Columbus, Ohio.
