While CLEAR CHANNEL maintains a Temporary Restraining Order to prevent one of its employees from taking a job with another company, the radio group apparently has settled several pending lawsuits late last week against CITADEL. In those suits, CLEAR CHANNEL claimed that several of its sales reps in CHICAGO and NEW YORK were "unlawfully induced" to break non-competes for jobs at CITADEL. Reportedly, CITADEL has agreed to respect what essentially are three-year non-competes for CLEAR CHANNEL's salespeople in those markets.

EVP/Chief Legal Officer ANDY LEVIN released the following statement: "We are pleased to have reached a settlement with CITADEL. CLEAR CHANNEL values its employees very highly, and we will continue to enforce our rights against any competitor who attempts to interfere with our contractual relationships."

CITADEL has been contacted for comment.
