Chicago's Weigel Broadcasting was notified that it won a 2010 Gabriel Award for "Green Screen Adventures," their locally produced children's series. The national award honors works of excellence in film, network and cable television and radio programs. "Green Screen Adventures" first won this award in 2008, along with numerous other awards since the show first began in 2007. The 2010 Gabriel Awards, sponsored by the Catholic Academy for Communication Arts Professionals, will be presented at the Catholic Media Convention in New Orleans on June 3rd. "Green Screen Adventures" airs on Weigel's national network, THIStv, Saturdays at 9:00am. Locally, the programs airs on WCIU-TV & Me-TV on weekend mornings and on Mee-Too on weekday mornings.
