I know. It was so bad. I had to turn it off. If you looked at any other station they'd do interrupts, sure, but no one else was selling this storm as the death threat of the century.

: I hope you aren't missing this catastrophe of a television broadcast right now on Fox Chicago. They've been live for at least the last 25 minutes, pounding the fact that tornados are sweeping through the area and destroying everything in their path. I know we're in severe weather, but a quick flip through the dial to 2, 5, 7, and 9 proves that this extreme of coverage isn't the norm. No other station is even talking about the storm, except for a bottom of screen crawl.

: On Fox, Mark Strehl is standing in front of a dangerous looking radar, babbling aimlessly with someone named Steve Baron who is apparently a senior web producer for MyFoxChicago.com and also happens to be a meteorologist. Every once in awhile they'll then patch in calls from survivors out in the field who've experienced the storm's wrath.

: Sensationalism at its finest.
