Gary Coleman was admitted to a hospital in Utah yesterday after suffering an accident at his home outside of Salt Lake City. He had fallen, hit his head and eventually slipped into a coma. He died from a brain hemorrhage today. Coleman was only 42.

Coleman was born in far north suburban Zion, IL and first became famous as the adorable child in a Harris Bank television commercial. He held a Harris Bank stuffed lion doll and said to the camera, "You should have a Hubert doll!" That Chicagoland media exposure led to to his most famous role, that of Arnold Jackson on "Diff'rent Strokes," which aired from 1978 to 1986. His expression, "Whatchu talkin' 'bout, Willis?" became a national catchphrase. He was never able to find steady Hollywood work or fame after the series ended.

Me-TV can be located with a digital tuner and antenna on WCIU-TV 26.2, on Comcast 223, RCN 14, WOW 17 (city), WOW 19 (suburbs), AT&T U-verse 23, DIRECTV 23 or on Dish Network 23.
