The "new" Good Day Chicago

Here's what I think so far:

* I'm having a hard time seeing Anna in a morning newsy position. They built her up to be a hard news chick and she just does not seem approachable. Corey on the other hand, aside from the constant mouth twitching that he does, is doing great.

* What's new is old again. Doing a morning newscast on couches in a faux living room. Did Bob Sirott recommend this? :)

* Chris Sowers is obsessed with his wacky maps that have pinpoints he can click on to pop up "more info" during the weather segments

* I like the small selection of new graphics they've unrolled. They seem more polished and more "morning"y
