B96's Erik Bradley adds Fresh 105.9 duties

CBS Radio Chicago has made the news official. WBBM-FM's APD/MD Erik Bradley has been named as the APD/MD of WCFS-FM. Bradley will now be the Assistant Program Director and Music Director for BOTH CBS-owned radio stations. The promotion is effective immediately.

Bradley replaces Joe Epperson who was let go from his APD/MD position at WCFS-FM last Friday.

Since October 1993, Erik Bradley has been with WBBM-FM, guiding its musical direction. He has been the recipient of 25 Music Director of the Year titles from multiple industry organizations & publications. Prior to Chicago, Bradley was Music Director at radio stations in Charlotte, NC and Kansas City, MO.

WCFS-FM's Program Director Jim Ryan said about his new right hand man in today's CBS Radio press release: "When you think of Chicago Radio, there is always one name that comes to mind... it's Erik Bradley. His knowledge of the Chicago audience is unparalleled, his relationships in the music community are unrivaled and I am excited to have him as my partner at Fresh! The station is poised for a new level of growth with the team we are building."

Erik Bradley added: "I'm beyond excited to be working with and learning from Jim Ryan as we make Fresh 105.9 a major player in Chicago. I'm thrilled to be gaining the invaluable experience of working with Fresh and am extremely confident that the team Jim is assembling will take the station to new highs."

WCFS-FM, better known as Fresh 105.9, launched in November 2007.
