WGN-AM's Vice-President and General Manger Tom Langmyer has seemingly been working to undo some of the 23 months of recently fired Program Director Kevin Metheny.

A little over four months after Kevin Metheny arrived at WGN-AM, he cut three shows and four WGN personalities. Quickly shown the door then were longtime News Director Wes Bleed, Alex Goldfayn and his Saturday night "Technology Tailor" show, Steve Dale and his Sunday night "Pet Central" show, and Bill Moller and his show "Your Money with Bill Moller."

Bill Moller's live financial talk show previously aired on WGN-AM from 1:00pm-4:00pm each Saturday afternoon. (It was also called "The Money Show" for a short while.) Unlike many financial shows which are simply infomercials for a brokerage firm, Bill Moller's program was simple and non-political, with no ulterior motives other than to inform and educate the audience.

Moller also was a frequent fill-in host during the weekdays, taking over any day shift from mornings to "Extension 720" at night, prior to Kevin Metheny's arrival. Moller first started at WGN-AM in April 2006.

For now, Bill Moller can next be heard at WGN Radio on Saturday, December 4, working the 9:00am-1:00pm shift. He will also fill in for Greg Jarrett's 5:00am-8:30am shift at the end of December.

Many fans will also remember Bill Moller as one of CLTV's initial news anchors and show hosts from its inception in 1993 until he departed in February 2006. Among his many awards and honors includes two Associated Press Awards, two prestigious journalistic Peter Lisagor Awards, and three Emmy Awards. He has been an adjunct professor at Columbia College and was appointed the first Annenberg Scholar at Principia College in Elsah, IL, where he taught Broadcasting and Speech Communications in 2008. Since exiting WGN-AM last April, he has been running Bill Moller Communications, a speaking and presentation coaching program.
