Each year, beloved Chicago radio personality Dick Biondi hosts his annual toy drive to help collect gifts for underprivileged Chicago area children. This year, Dick Biondi does it yet again.

The 2010 Dick Biondi Toy Drive will take place on Saturday, November 27th. From 9:00am until 9:00pm, Dick Biondi will be at the Stratford Square Mall, located at 152 Stratford Square Mall in suburban Bloomingdale. Dick Biondi will have a sectioned off area set up on the lower level of the mall in the court area in front of Sears. People are urged to bring new and unwrapped children's toys to the area where Dick Biondi will be sitting. (Cash and gift card donations are also accepted and welcomed.)

The donations will then be entirely given to UCAN Chicago, an organization that will use these toys and donations to help brighten the holidays of Chicago area youths and families that have had to endure severe poverty, neglect, abuse, and trauma. Many of the children that will be helped are ones that are now wards of the state and removed from their families for their own well being.

In addition to doing a LIVE marathon broadcast from the mall for twelve straight hours on WLS-FM 94.7, Chicago radio's human energizer bunny, Dick Biondi will be joined throughout the entire day by many special guests, both in persona and by phone.

This is the second year in a row that the annual Dick Biondi Toy Drive will be held exclusively at Stratford Square Mall on Thanksgiving weekend. Radio Hall of Famer Dick Biondi began doing this annual holiday toy drive for children 19 years (and a few radio stations) ago.
