: Something I did not know: : Nelda Brickhouse found solace in work. In 1975 the Brickhouses had purchased WGSB AM, a 1,000-watt radio station in Saint Charles, and to avoid any conflict with FCC rules, the station was put in Nelda's name. She threw herself into managing it. : (it was later sold to Howard Miller)
