Starting at 7 tonight -- right after Steve Dahl signs off for the last time -- WCKG-FM (105.9) is expected to switch to all-holiday music around the clock.

Although CBS Radio has pulled the plug on WCKG's FM talk lineup, it's not quite ready to unveil the station's new identity, which is expected to be an adult-contemporary music format for women between 25 and 54.

Until that becomes official -- along with the appointment of Dave Robbins as vice president and general manager -- it'll be Christmas all the way.

But that doesn't mean WCKG will be caroling alone for long.

Clear Channel Radio bosses say they plan to transform adult contemporary WLIT-FM (93.9) into "The Holiday Lite" sometime next week. Last year, Lite FM made the move Nov. 2.
