NPR’s ‘Car Talk’ duo retiring, reruns to continue

Tom and Ray Magliozzi said Friday they will stop making new episodes of their comic automotive advice show at the end of September — 25 years after “Car Talk” began in Boston. But “repurposed” versions of old “Car Talk” shows will continue on National Public Radio. The show airs every Saturday morning on WBEZ-FM and is NPR’s most popular program.
