Cut To The Chase ... On TV

The spectre of RANDY MICHAELS' manic JACOR "ambiance" continues to expand exponentially. Former JACOR and CLEAR CHANNEL SVP-turned-TRIBUNE exec MARC CHASE will be hosting "Movie Underground," a FRIDAY late-night movie series on the WGN-TV cable channel/network, starting JULY 25th.

As host "SMILIN' DICK NIXON, the Night Watchman" CHASE will defend the "Fortress of Television Innovation" by transporting "himself (and the viewers) to another environment each week, providing custom and creative opportunities for product integration and scenes produced on site at advertiser venues." Films on the menu: "The Terminator," "Get Carter," "Back to School" and "Brothers Grimm."

Rumor has it that the show will also feature cameos by other radio notables, so ... stay tuned!
