Without fanfare, "At the Movies with Ebert & Roeper" taped its final three episodes at the studios of ABC-owned WLS-Channel 7 Wednesday before wrapping up production forever.

The last original installment of the show will air Aug. 16.

Sun-Timesmen Roger Ebert and Richard Roeper severed ties to Disney ABC Domestic Television last week -- just one day before Disney announced plans to hire two new hosts and revamp the show's format.

In a salute to their eight-year partnership, Ebert and Roeper's 2006 interview with "Friday Night" host John Callaway will be rebroadcast at 7:30 tonight on Window to the World Communications' WTTW-Channel 11.

Roeper is expected to finalize plans for his new movie-review show in the next few weeks.
