ALL ACCESS has enlisted RADIOCRUNCH Pres. ANTHONY ACAMPORA to take a look inside the PPM numbers in LOS ANGELES and CHICAGO for JULY. Keep in mind that these numbers are PRE-CURRENCY and will not be used for transactional business until currency becomes effective in OCTOBER.

LOS ANGELES: KIIS Continues To Lead The Way

CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 KIIS remains the market leader among adults 18-34, 18-49, and 25-54 with CBS Alternative KROQ a close second in the upper two cells. Here's a look inside each demo:

25-54: KIIS is the leader, with KROQ second. CBS also sees Adult Hits KCBS (JACK-FM) a solid 3rd (the same positions as JUNE). UNIVISION Spanish Contemporary KLVE ties with SBS Regional Mexican KLAX for 4th (KLVE dropping from a 3rd place tie with KCBS, while KLAX rises all the way from 9th). KLAX tops two rivals: UNIVISION's KSCA and LIBERMAN's KBUE -- which both rank 6th. CLEAR CHANNEL AC KOST was 8th (off from 6th), with UNIVISION Spanish Adult Hits KRCD (Recuerdo) 9th. Tied for 10th: CBS Classic Hits KRTH (down from 7th) and CLEAR CHANNEL Hot AC KBIG (up from 11th).

CITADEL Classic Rock KLOS is a steady 12th, while EMMIS Rhythmic KPWR (POWER 106) and CLEAR CHANNEL Talk KFI tied for 13th. CBS sees a bit of a jump for Smooth AC KTWV -- which moves back inside the top 15. ENTRAVISION sees Spanish Adult Hits KLYY (JOSE) surge from 22nd in June to 16th in July (a recent format flip that appears to be catching on). CLEAR CHANNEL Rhythmic Oldies KHHT dips from 14th to 17th. SBS Latin Urban KXOL moves to 18th, CLEAR CHANNEL Alternative KYSR is 19th (off from 14th in June), and ENTRAVISION Spanish Contemporary KSSE rounds out the top 20.

PASADENA CITY COLLEGE News/Talk KPCC ties with CBS Talker KLSX and MT. WILSON Country KKGO for 21st place. EMMIS Rhythmic Oldies KMVN holds in 24th, tied with LIBERMAN Mexican Oldies KHJ.

Other stations of note: BONNEVILLE AAA KSWD inches up from 32nd to 30th, but Urban continues to struggle with MAGIC Urban KDAY 34th and TAXI Urban AC KJLH 40th.

18-49: KIIS, KROQ, and KCBS-FM take the top three spots here as well with "JACK" jumping from 5th to move inside the top 3. KLAX surges from 9th to 4th to take the top honors for Spanish-language stations. KLVE slides from 4th to 5th, with KSCA sliding all the way from 3rd to 6th. KBUE finishes 7th, KBIG is 8th, KRCD 9th, and KPWR steady for a second month in 10th place.

KOST dips from 7th to 11th, with another huge jump for KLYY (all the way from 20th to 12th). KRTH is 13th, with KLOS and KXOL tied for 14th. KYSR is off from 12th to 16th, tying them with KTWV (who moves up from 17th). KHHT moves from 14th to 18th, while KSSE and KFI round out the top 20.

KMVN and KKGO tie for 21st, with KWIZ-FM moving from 25th to 23rd, ahead of KLSX and KHJ, who are tied for 24th.

18-34: KIIS wins this by a landslide, with KLAX a distant #2. KROQ was #3 overall. KPWR slides from 3rd to 4th. KRCD claimed a solid 5th place (moving all the way up from 10th in June). KBUE, KLVE, and KSCA take the 6th through 8th slots, with KBIG 9th and KXOL 10th.

Mornings: 18-34 goes to KROQ's KEVIN & BEAN, followed by RYAN SEACREST on KIIS, DON CHETO on KBUE, EDDIE "PIOLIN" SOTELO on KSCA and BIG BOY on KPWR. With adults 25-54, it's no contest with KEVIN & BEAN winning running away. PIOLIN is #2, followed by music on KCBS (JACK-FM), KLVE's OMAR & ARGELIA. Tied for 5th are RYAN SEACREST and MARK & BRIAN on KLOS. One really bright note for KLSX is ADAM CAROLLA tied for 9th among persons 25-54 in mornings.

CHICAGO: BONNEVILLE Remains In High Gear; WLS Top 10

BONNEVILLE continues their steady pace in JULY, with big wins for all three of their properties.

25-54: BONNEVILLE Classic Rock WDRV (THE DRIVE) wins running away, with sister Hot AC WTMX ranking 2nd. CBS grabs the next two spots with Country WUSN #3 and AAA WXRT #4. SBS sees Regional Mexican WLEY take the top Spanish station honors 25-54 and ranks 5th. CLEAR CHANNEL Urban AC WVAZ leads the competitive Urban marketplace ranking 6th. UNIVISION Regional Mexican WOJO was 7th. EMMIS sees Classic Rock WLUP 8th, and a nice month for CITADEL Classic Hits WLS-FM (True Oldies 94-7), which ranked 9th. CBS News WBBM-A is 10th.

TRIBUNE News/Talk WGN-A was 11th (and was unable to beat 'BBM despite the CUBS). CLEAR CHANNEL Urban WGCI was 12th. The three-way AC battle goes to BONNEVILLE by a narrow margin with WILV (LOVE-FM) 13th, just ahead of CLEAR CHANNEL's WLIT and CBS's WCFS -- who rank 14th and 15th respectively. UNIVISION Spanish Adult Hits WPPN (RECUERDO) is now 16th, with CBS All Sports WSCR 17th. CLEAR CHANNEL Smooth AC WNUA ranks 18th (a slight uptick from last month). CBS Adult Hits WJMK was 19th (although still hampered by lower numbers from STEVE DAHL in mornings). CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 WKSC rounds out the top 20.

Finishing up the top 25 (in descending order): ESPN WMVP-A, CITADEL News/Talk WLS-A, CBS Rhythmic WBBM (B96), EMMIS Alternative WKQX (Q101.1), and WBEZ. Suburban Active Rocker WIIL ranked 26th -- not far behind WKQX.

18-34: WTMX wins here again for another BONNEVILLE trophy. WOJO is a close 2nd, with WKSC a solid 3rd (tied with WLEY). WGCI ranks 5th, WUSN 6th, B96 is 7th, Q101.1 is 8th, WPPN 9th, and WLIT 10th.
