Two weeks after Newsweb Radio shifted its progressive talk format to WCPT-AM (820), the company has begun airing a daytime feed of CNN Headline News on WAIT-AM (850). Local news and weather air twice each hour.
Harvey Wells, vice president and group station manager, said Newsweb still plans to transform 850 AM into a time-brokered station, with CNN airing during the non-brokered hours.
