CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40/Mainstream WKSC (KISS FM)/CHICAGO has appointed RICK VAUGHN to be its PD, VAUGHN, who officially starts SEPT. 2nd, succeeds RICK GILLETTE, who will be returning to CALIFORNIA to be with his family. GILLETTE?s last day is AUG. 15th.

"RICK VAUGHN brings a wealth of experience to 103.5 KISS-FM," CC-CHICAGO Pres./Market Manager EARL JONES stated. "RICK has programmed and marketed radio stations from the EAST COAST to the WEST COAST with many stops in between. He is now ready to weave his magic in the MIDWEST."

VAUGHN, who has been PD of CLEAR CHANNEL sister Top 40 WIOQ/PHILADELPHIA since late 2005, said, "What an amazing opportunity to work with an all-star team. To follow in the footsteps of RICK GILLETTE, to work on TONY COLES' programming team, and the chance to work for EARL JONES -- wow!"
