Clear Channel Radio Solidifies Executive Hierarchy
Now a private entity, CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO has solidified its executive hierarchy, giving extensions to EVAN HARRISON, SUSAN KARIS, MARK KOPELMAN, GENE ROMANO, TOM SCHURR and GEORGE TOULAS, promoting HARRISON, KOPELMAN, ROMANO and TOULAS to newly created positions that will give each of these executives expanded roles with the company.
On the operations side, Regional SVP MARK KOPELMAN and CLEAR CHANNEL/MIAMI Pres./Market Manager GEORGE TOULAS are promoted to EVPO of mid-major markets. They join TOM SCHURR and SUSAN KARIS, who now lead major markets in the eastern and western regions, respectively.
On the development side, EVAN HARRISON has been promoted to President of CLEAR CHANNEL’s Online Music & Radio unit; he remains an EVP of CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO. GENE ROMANO is upped from SVP to EVP/Programming
