Feed the Children, a nonprofit relief organization, will be the beneficiary of this year's Request for Help on CBS Radio adult rock WXRT-FM (93.1)
Airing commercial-free from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, WXRT will invite listeners to "take over the airwaves" and program the music on the station in exchange for donations of $50 or more.
Any song will be played unless it exceeds 5½ minutes in length or violates FCC guidelines.
