Gone are the days when being on a major market big talker meant you were a true powerhouse of talent, even on the weekends and off-hours. Who is this kid? From what I can tell by Googling, he has been on WGN for some time but what I caught tonight sure as heck didn't sound like it. His topic is the police officer who forced Chicago Starbucks to give her free coffee and pastries at gunpoint. WHY is this a topic on August 23rd? This case happened weeks ago. Why isn't he talking about Obama, or back to school? He didn't sound like he gets many calls either since he gave out the phone # NINE times in 2 minutes before going to break. He used about 5 different cliches during that 2 minutes too, like 'The Nick Digilio Radio Program for your Saturday Night'. NICE! And his email address is @aol.com?? Apparently he isn't considered part of the team to get a company branded email account. What a waste.
