But from what I know, his problem was attitude. He KNEW he was good and made life hard on anyone who wouldn't "bow down."

By no means am I saying he deserved to be fired, I'm just saying at a time when the bottom line is more important than ever, and when you can be replaced by Ryan Seacrest or Elvis Duran at any given time, you need that extra help in terms of ease to work with, flexibility. And Billy didn't have that.
