A TV version of NPR's weekend "Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me" quiz show?

And it wouldn't be with PBS (as the Car Talk cartoon series is). DCRTV hears that National Public Radio's "reached an agreement with CBS Entertainment to create a television pilot" based on the 10-year-old show hosted with great wit and topicality by Peter Sagal, and announced by Morning Edition's amazing Carl Kasell. "Wait Wait" has been one of public radio's fastest-growing shows, at a time when NPR's actually been pretty stagnant, audience-wise. The Chicago-based program garners a weekly audience of about 2.7 million.
