CBS2 new studio "for sure" date

Better get a new hat: Sept. 22 is the latest date CBS-owned WBBM-Ch. 2 has pegged for its oft-delayed broadcast debut from its new headquarters at Dearborn and Washington Streets.

As Bullwinkle J. Moose would say: "This time for sure."

"Heart of Chicago," a half-hour special on the station's history and transition, has been scheduled for 6 a.m., 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 10:35 p.m Sept. 21.

But just to be safe, the station isn't planning a big to-do across the street in Daley Plaza until at least October.
