‘Crazy’ or not — he’s back

It’s been 14 months since “Crazy” Howard McGee was fired as morning personality at Clear Channel Radio’s urban contemporary WGCI-FM (107.5) and replaced by the nationally syndicated Steve Harvey.

McGee hasn’t been heard from much since then — but that’s about to change.

From 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, he’s expected to hold forth on USTalkNetwork.com, an Internet Radio site run by former Chicago radio executives Lee Michaels and Zemira Jones.

McGee has promised to “tell the real reason he was fired, who really fired him [and] who the phonies are in Chicago radio and Clear Channel.”
