After more than 14 years at northwest suburban WZSR-FM (105.5), Gary Castaldo has resigned as morning personality. His last day on the air at the NextMedia Group adult-contemporary station will be Oct. 31.

"It's been a great ride for me, and I will miss this place a lot, but it's time for me to move on," Castaldo said.
