CITADEL O&O STATION GROUP President MITCH DOLAN has announced a new management team for the company's CHICAGO cluster.
JOHN GALLAGHER continues as Pres./GM of News/Talk WLS-A and MIKE FOWLER has been appointed Pres./GM of Oldies WZZN. GALLAGHER and FOWLER will be responsible for all operational facets of their respective stations and report directly to DOLAN. This new alignment is effective immediately.
"This structure will allow us to capitalize on each station's key business opportunities," said DOLAN. "WLS has a rich history in CHICAGO and in the national News/Talk arena. No one in the industry is more qualified to continue to drive our efforts there than JOHN."
"MIKE is a valuable addition to our company," DOLAN added. "We expect his extensive knowledge of the CHICAGO market and his considerable experience in the Oldies format to have significant impact at WZZN."
