Michael Feldman, whose weekly comedy/quiz show "Whad'Ya Know?" lost its Chicago radio outlet after 22 years, is on his way back.

A deal is in the works for the show to air in its original live time period at 10 a.m. Saturdays on Newsweb Corp. progressive talk WCPT-AM (820).

Until earlier this month, "Whad'Ya Know?" had been a staple of Chicago Public Radio WBEZ-FM (91.5). When a move to Saturday nights failed to boost the show's ratings, WBEZ dropped it as part of a weekend programming realignment.

Although WCPT is a commercial station, the show would air just as it does on noncommercial public radio outlets. Distributed by Public Radio International, it originates from Madison, Wis.

The wry and witty Feldman has had a loyal following here since his stint in afternoons at Tribune Co.-owned news/talk WGN-AM (720) in 1984.
