Mike Dinger, chief engineer for NextMedia Group stations in southwest suburban Joliet and west suburban Aurora, has been recovering from a gunshot wound he sustained during an attempted robbery.
Dinger was outside his Joliet apartment Monday when he was shot in the leg by a gunman who was attempting to steal his car.
