It's a sad script: Former Channel 5 reporter Amy Jacobson, whose controversial "bikini" firing last summer made headlines, is having a tough go.

• • Translation: Besides losing her job, her house, and thousands of dollars when their home was robbed earlier this year, Jacobson's husband, Jaime Anglada, has filed for divorce!

• • Translation: "She will not be spending her 39th birthday today with her husband," a source said. "He moved out of their North Side apartment and recently served her with divorce papers." The couple, who married in 2002, have two young sons.

• • The Backshot: Friends close to her say "all the changes the past year has brought contributed to the demise of their marriage. Amy is strong and she has a lot of loving friends who will help her get through this trying time."

• • The tough shot: Jacobson has hired high profile divorce attorney Tracy Rizzo.
