as much as i bitched and moaned to my friends, coworkers and on the message boards about how for so long dahl had become "steve dull" and "dr. dead air" and how they needed to yank him and that overgrown ego off the air ... i have to admit that i almost cried when he said "aloha" and signed off for the last time. and i got choked up while listening to the voiceguy "tribute" they played after the first song of the 9am hr too. something is happening to radio, friends .. it's been happening for quite some time, and it's not showing any signs of improvement .. it makes me really sad.
