i was interning the day lujak came into the studio after dahl spewed off some sh*t about him for weeks and management wouldn't do anything about it. he challenged dahl flat out ON THE AIR, just walked right in during their show and called him on the carpet. garry tried to put a good face on it (as was his job), but dahl just shut right up and wouldn't risk trying to come close in keeping up with lujak's razor wit. compelling radio? you betcha! dahl always was a lessor jock than people thought he was. don't believe me? look at the disco demo night tape. dahl couldn't get one good sentence out...was too nervous, high, drunk or all three. the legend grew despite the dismal performance.
