Maybe Dick Johnson can be a part-time executive assistant for extra cash.

Larry Wert, Channel 5's president and general manager, added more to his plate this week with the acquisition of Skycastle Entertainment by NBC Universal's Local Media Group.

The Los Angeles-based marketing and promotional company will report to Wert and work with NBC stations.

"With Skycastle now a part of our organization, we can offer advertising partners custom 360-degree solutions from idea to execution, utilizing the full assets of our local media portfolio, as well as our partnerships and expertise in the local media business," Wert said.
