You can tell when a "weather person" is from out of town. Note I did not say meteorologist. Do many of these transplants even bear the AMS seal of approval? They can't speak the villages and cities! There has got to be people coming out of broadcast meteorology from NIU or UIUC to be able to fill any Chicago opening. No connection whatsoever with these flukes.
Anyone sick of Amy Freeze? She can't keep a tempo going, always seems to stumble and really have to think about what she is going to say. I thought I read somewhere that wasn't her real last name... could be wrong on that though.
The bar is set really high with Tom Skilling. Perhaps we are spoiled. Though I know there are ones that don't like his detail, but I think it's great.
