WLS covering both St. Patrick's parades

The secret to success in local television? Stay hyper-locally focused, the experts say. Heeding that advice, ABC-owned WLS-Channel 7 has opted to broadcast not one, but both local St. Patrick's Day parades. The downtown parade airs live Saturday at noon, and the South Side parade can be seen Sunday at 1 p.m. WLS will have floats carrying station talent in both parades.
