The last FM Talk station on CBS Radio is officially going to the NOW FM Format. Heres the story.

For several years, WJFK has been a respite of sorts for those of us on long drives, long commutes or long tasks which permit radios.

Their 'guy talk' lineup of the Sports Junkies in the morning, the Big O and Dukes Show midday and the (now) Mike O'Meara Show (used to be Don and Mike) always makes me laugh out loud.

Sadly, though, it doesn't seem to be popular enough with the portable people meters, the new way that Neilsen does ratings for radio.

As we told you, rumors of a format flip have been circulating for some time now.

Now, they are getting louder and louder... so loud that DCRTV.com is reporting that Opie and Anthony's Jim Norton talked about it on their Sirius show yesterday.

Since we can't send you a link to the specific story on DCRTV, we've cut and paste it for you below. You can check out the site, which is a great source for the scuttlebutt on DC radio and television news here.

3/13 - A DCRTVer tells us: Former WJFKers Opie and Anthony "started off their (Sirius XM) show today with Jim Norton saying that WJFK is flipping formats on April 1. All the guys had nice things to say about the talent on the station, even Don (Geronimo), but that the (guy talk) station was flipping to either (contemporary hit) Now or Amp 106.7 on April 1"......

We're so not happy about this. We'll miss the current on-air personalities, but we're sure they will land some place soon. We'll keep you posted.
