EMMIS RADIO Classic Rock WLUP (THE LOOP)/CHICAGO has come to terms with morning host JONATHON BRANDMEIER for a contract extension. The length of the extension has not been disclosed.

"At a time when most radio stations are eliminating morning show personalities, we believe it is more important than ever to keep a talent like JONATHON BRANDMEIER on THE LOOP for both the listening audience and the advertising community," Market Manager/GM MARV NYREN said. "CHICAGO has a rich tradition of great morning show personalities and JOHNNY has certainly put himself at the top of that list."
