Saunders still out

Meanwhile, a WMAQ spokeswoman said the station doesn't know when 10 p.m. news anchor Warner Saunders will be back on air after taking a medical leave in early March. Saunders had indicated he would be back in mid-April, but "we haven't heard anything yet," said the spokeswoman. Saunders is supposed to sign off for the last time in late May, to make way for Bob Sirott to co-anchor the 10 p.m. news report.
