The news/traffic on WLS is moderately light compared to WGN. There is no comparing the two, even on WLS's best day.
I tend to agree with you regarding WGN's traffic on the 7's, but it doesn't seem like that is going away anytime soon.
: WLS and WGN are practically unlistenable due to the constant news, B.S. traffic (who the f**k needs traffic reports every 5 min? As if people are really changing their routes - dam it makes me effin' nuts!!!)10 minutes of commercials followed by some mildly amusing chit chat of which I can never get into the flow because guess what, it's time for more traffic then commercials then news and more traffic and commercials...
