Yes, that was Mark Suppelsa who turned up Wednesday in a comedy cameo on WGN-Channel 9's morning newscast.
Sporting a loud yellow shirt, straw hat and binoculars, he pretended to be a tourist visiting the Tribune Co.-owned station.
Suppelsa signed off last week after five years as principal news anchor at rival Fox-owned WFLD-Channel 32.
