Tom Skilling, chief meteorologist at Channel 9 (and local television's gold standard of weathermen), will host his annual tornado and severe weather seminar April 5 at Fermilab in Batavia.

The event, which is free and open to the public, draws leading scientists and researchers from across the country to explain the dynamics and aftereffects of severe weather.
