Department Of Corrections: In yesterday’s story on John Madden’s retirement from his NBC-TV NFL gig, we neglected to mention that Madden will continue to host his Daily Madden radio reports on KCBS-AM & FM/San Francisco. Madden, who lives in the Bay area, said his mom — also a Northern California resident — called him yesterday wondering if she’d still be able to hear him on the radio. “She listens to me every day,” said Madden appearing live this morning on the CBS Radio all-newser. “I told her not to worry, that I would still be on the radio on KCBS.” You can hear more of what the legendary NFL coach and Hall of Fame broadcaster had to say about his retirement at www.kcbs.com.
