WDRV is inviting listeners to "Own a Piece of Rock, Save a Piece of Earth." Starting this morning is The Drive's 8th Annual Earth Day Guitar Auction. This is a special Internet-only auction to benefit the Save the Earth Foundation. What is really special is the guitar up for auction: a black Les Paul-style electric guitar made by Canvas that has been autographed by Sir Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, producer Sir George Martin and Pete Best, the original drummer for the Beatles, and features the Beatles' classic Apple logo.
This once-in-a-lifetime item can be bid upon from 7:00am to 7:00pm only. At 7:00pm, the bidding is abruptly stopped and the highest bidder will own this stunning guitar. Bidding starts at only $500 and bids will be in increments of $25. The bidding will take place at the link below.
