i dunno.......in the 70's, the oldies were from the 50's...(WFYR, right?)....Jesse's Girl is 25 years old....I get what you're saying. I don't know if it's TRUE, but it IS an oldie.....Oldies seemed older when we were younger.


: Scanning the FM dial this morning and came across 94.7FM and Rick Springfield singing "Jesse's Girl". I understand that stations can play anything they want and call it whatever, but does "Jesse's Girl" REALLY qualify as a TRUE oldie? After "Too Busy Thinking About My Baby" from Marvin Gaye they played "Still the Same" by Bob Segar. I don't even consider "Still the Same" a TRUE oldie?
