Do the right thing and go to Columbia College chicago. They are the only school in the United States that has a radio program. There are jobs out there in small/medium markets. If you work hard, are talented and can deal with great teachers, go to Columbia. Also, you will get a 4 year degree if you complete the program.

: The majority of people that I have seen come from that school are losers. Their certificate means nothing. They truly breed the worst people in radio from that school, but hey every station needs to fill their part time promotions staff.

: : I wouldn't go so far as to say its' for losers, but I wish kids wouldn't buy into the marketing hype and think attending a specialized school is really going to increase their chances of making it. Sure you get a nice scope of the business, but that's all you'll have at the end of it. Nothing to fall back on. Better choice is to get a real degree in an unrelated field, while interning at a station for college credit. You'll learn everything you need to know that way.
