WSSR-FM (96.7) is booming across the west and southwest suburbs now that the NextMedia adult contemporary station has switched on its new transmitter tower at 159th and Cedar in Lockport.
After two years of planning and construction, the tower was activated last week, improving signal coverage of Star 96.7 throughout the area.
