Quite frankly, Tony Kornheiser appeared to be very bored and out of his element as the third voice on ESPN's "Monday Night Football" during his three seasons since they replaced ABC Sports as the league's new home for the prime time football showcase. I don't think he was all that thrilled at the constant travel that went along with the job. Kornheiser seemed more at home in the Atlantic Video studios in Washington, DC, home of "Pardon the Interruption", with fellow Washington Post sportswriter/columnist and Chicago native Mike Wilbon than trying to provide the fan's perspective with Mike Tirico & Ron Jaworski on "MNF". As for Jon Gruden, I'm not sure how long he'll last in the booth, especially because I think he'll be in high demand to return to coaching after next season. Gruden, Mike Holmgren, Bill Cowher, Mike Shanahan & Brian Billick may be among the big time head coaches who could be hot properties among NFL teams come 2010 and beyond.
