Nick Digilio turns 44 in just over a month. A person's physical age doesn't matter, though. David Letterman is entirely grey haired, but has arguably way more college age viewers than the "younger" Leno. How a host connects with his/her broader audience is what matters.

Meier, Dahl, Brandmeier, Digilio, Noonan and a few other names that have been tossed about for larger roles at WGN fit into that category, too. They might be "old" but are still able to relate and appeal to a large demographic.

Kathy & Judy's appeal was much more streamlined. The cost of the show outweighed the revenue and ratings it brought in, from what I understand.
